Balalaya prathishta of sri Lakshmi venkatesha
sri mahamaya & Parivara devathas

“Even if it is just a petal or a tulsi leaf, Sri Lakshmi Venkatesha Deva should graciously accept whatever the devotees offer and bless them with prosperity and growth.”

This was the prayer offered by Shri Bhuvanendra Tirtha Swamiji 160 years ago, when the Garbhagriha of our temple, which was then thatched with hay, was consecrated with the deity of Shri Lakshmi Venkatesha. The prayer bore fruit, as the Lord graciously blessed all who sought refuge at His abode. Gradually, our community rose on the path of prosperity. The temple too saw consistent development and growth as a result.

In 1980, with the consecration of Shri Mahamaya by the amruthastha of Shri Sudheendra Tirtha Swamiji, the fame of the temple spread far and wide.

It is indeed the merit and fortune of this generation that we now witness the rare and virtuous undertaking of the temple’s complete jeernodhar. By the grace of Shri Lakshmi Venkatesha, Shri Mahamaya, and the guru parampara, the journey has evolved from a simple hay-thatched sanctum to a magnificent shilamaya temple. The person who envisioned and guided this transformation is none other than Shri Samyameendra Tirtha Swamiji! When the sanctum’s structure needed renovation, Swamiji directed that the temple should be rebuilt entirely in stone to endure for generations.
